On March 20, 2026, MVEC and Tiny Flower Montessori Preschool System, in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, successfully hosted a seminar on Montessori education. With over 130 participants, the event offered insights from international experts alongside practical experiences from Montessori implementation in Vietnam. More than just an academic event, it was a space for connection—where educators came together to learn, share, and spread meaningful values to children

SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR: “MONTESSORI EDUCATION – FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE IN VIETNAM”

On the morning of March 20, 2026, the Montessori Vietnam Education Center (MVEC) and Tiny Flower Montessori Preschool System (TFM), in collaboration with the Faculty of Early Childhood Education – Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, successfully organized a scientific seminar titled: “Montessori Education: From Theory to Practice in Vietnam.”

The event took place in a dynamic academic setting, attracting more than 130 lecturers, postgraduate students, university students, and early childhood education administrators interested in the Montessori approach.

Key highlights of the seminar:

  • Mr. Todd Covert (AMI Trainer) provided in-depth insights into the philosophy, essence, and core values of Montessori education according to international standards.
  • Ms. Sue Pritzker (AMI Trainer) presented a global overview of Montessori education and contemporary approaches worldwide.
  • Ms. Tran Thanh Hien – Founder of Tiny Flower Montessori Preschool System and Director of MVEC – shared practical experiences in implementing Montessori in Vietnam, including opportunities, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Dr. Bui Hong Quan – Head of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education – discussed orientations for integrating Montessori principles into teacher training programs.

Through this seminar, MVEC and Tiny Flower Montessori aim to bridge theory and practice, creating an academic platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and promoting the appropriate and standardized application of Montessori education within the Vietnamese context.

The event also marks a meaningful step toward strengthening collaboration among educational institutions, contributing to the enhancement of human resource quality and the sustainable development of early childhood education.
