Content of the Montessori Orientation Course for Ages 6-12

The Montessori Orientation Course for children aged 6-12 represents a special phase in Maria Montessori's educational philosophy. This stage focuses on supporting children's intellectual development, abstract reasoning, and social skills in an inspiring learning environment. It is the period of the "Reasoning Mind," where children begin exploring the larger world through thinking, research, and collaboration.

  • Encourage children to ask questions and seek answers through research projects.

Social Skill Development

  • Foster empathy, respect, and a sense of responsibility.

Promoting Independence

  • Encourage children to manage their time, learning materials, and personal goals independently.
  • Strengthen self-discipline and self-confidence.

  • Help children explore the relationships between humans, nature, and society through various academic disciplines.
